Spring Rain

Rain splashes onto petals and pavement, cool and sudden, and the smell of wet earth rises, rich and alive.

I step outside, arms open, letting drops strike my skin, and I am reminded that renewal is constant, that even the heaviest storms can leave the world more vibrant than before.
