Welcome to Poetic Reflections.

I’m Valerie D. Staton, a faith-based author and poet inspired by a deep love for God and the quiet moments where His presence speaks most clearly. My writing is rooted in reflection, prayer, and a desire to encourage hearts through every season of life.

Through poetry and devotional writing, I seek to uplift, comfort, and remind others that God’s grace is always near. Whether in moments of joy, uncertainty, or healing, my hope is that these words meet you exactly where you are.

I am the author of Whispers of Grace: Poems, Prayers, and Praise, Odes of Praise: A Collection of Christian Poetry, Staton the Facts: The Informative Bible-Based Activity Book, and Journey to Wellness: A Personal Health Recordkeeper.

I am currently working on a devotional titled Daily Moments with God and Daily Affirmations with God, a guided journal designed to inspire spiritual growth through scripture, affirmations, and reflection.
